Complaints channel

E-REDES firmly pursues a policy of transparency, giving a voice to anyone who considers that certain conduct violates ethical principles, legal provisions or internal regulations. To this end, it provides a channel called Speak up – E-REDES, which, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding complaints, allows easy access to anyone who wishes to use it.

The Speak Up – E-REDES channel is a global channel that welcomes reports from any interested parties of alleged violations, whether of the Code of Ethics or of legal issues – among which are those provided for in the general whistleblower protection regime recently published in Portugal (Law No. 93/2021, of 20 December) – as well as internal policies and regulations. However, if you wish to report a violation, specifically of the independence rules to which E-REDES is subject under the terms of Decree-Law No. 15/2022 of 14 January and the Regulation on Commercial Relations in the Electricity and Gas Sectors, the appropriate channels to use are the email address codigoconduta@eredes.pt or the email address of the Independent Compliance Officer conformidade@e-redes.pt.

E-REDES is explicitly committed to protecting those who report complaints, providing processes, procedures and a channel duly prepared for this purpose. This commitment presupposes total respect for the principles of non-reprimand or retaliation against those who resort to this means of reporting in good faith and on a well-founded basis.

The handling and management of reports submitted are based on processes designed and implemented to ensure their total security, independence, integrity and preservation. Communications may be submitted anonymously, and all information exchanged is confidential and protected against unauthorised access, ensuring the protection of personal data.
