Integrated Flexibility in a Market Regime

E-REDES is fully committed to the energy transition and wants to be at the cutting edge promoting greater integration of renewable energy, empowering consumers to play a more central role or facilitating new business models.

E-REDES launched the FIRMe project at the end of 2022, aiming to adapt to the flexibility requirements and test the market by raising awareness among the players (flexibility service providers – FSPs) and encouraging them to participate in this new local flexibility market. Without them, it will be impossible to have local flexibility markets.

The results of our second auction show a significant increase in participation and bid value. Compared to the first round, there has been clear growth, reflecting the program's continued evolution and our participants' confidence in the project and in E-REDES.

  1. If you are a customer/producer with the ability to model your consumption/production or own assets, such as electric vehicles, distributed generation units or battery storage systems, you can register as a flexibility service provider.
