E-REDES carried out the complete remodeling of the High Voltage floor and the construction of the High Voltage Interbar at the Pombal substation, allowing for greater operating flexibility and restoring the good condition of numerous pieces of equipment, namely circuit breakers, disconnectors, current transformers and HV voltage transformers, as well as adapting the oil retention system, fire walls and improving the earthing network.
 

This work, which falls under the scope of the Renewal and Rehabilitation of High Voltage/Medium Voltage Assets, involved several teams from E-REDES and various service providers such as CME, the Silva&Vinha/Painhas Consortium, Siemens, Canas, Transportes Morgadinha and Labelec.
 

The intervention, which represented an investment of more than €1.2 million due to its complexity and operating restrictions, was carried out in phases using a mobile HV unit.
 

The solution implemented made it possible to renew critical assets at the Pombal substation, improve the operating conditions of the HV network and adapt the substation to the company's environmental requirements.
