As part of the 2024 Donate to Protect Programme, E-REDES donated 12 vehicles from its fleet – six light vehicles and six pick-ups – to institutions that support the community or carry out activities related to forest protection, vegetation clearing and reforestation.
The Donate to Protect Programme represents E-REDES' social involvement and investment in the local context. For reasons of fleet renewal and in response to requests for support, E-REDES donates used vehicles that are still in good condition to local authorities, parishes and associations that carry out relevant work in the areas of civil protection, forest management, social and community support.
A total of six draws were held, divided between light vehicles and pick-ups, two for each region of the country: north, centre and south.

This programme began in 2015 and by 2024 E-REDES will have delivered 124 vehicles from the north to the south of the country. The deadline for applications to the 2025 Donate to Protect Programme will be announced shortly on the E-REDES website.
