E-REDES has opened the application period for the Donate to Protect Program, which aims to help local authorities and communities by donating used vehicles from the company's fleet. The program is open to all municipalities and local entities involved in forest protection, vegetation clearance and reforestation, as well as institutions that provide community support services.

To apply, simply fill in the form available on the Program's web page. This is followed by a period of assessment of the eligibility conditions of each of the applicant entities. The entities are assessed in terms of their suitability, compliance with the deadlines set for applications, whether the applicant entity has benefited from any vehicle from the program in the last three years, and finally whether it conducts its activity in accordance with E-REDES' Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct. Once eligibility conditions are met, E-REDES holds three draws, in the north, center and south of the country, and the winners for each region are identified.

The Donate to Protect program is one of the most visible aspects of E-REDES' social involvement and investment in local authorities and communities. In the 10 years since the program was launched, E-REDES has donated 129 vehicles from the north to the south of the country.
