E-REDES will carry out scheduled maintenance work on the electricity grid, which will result in temporary power outages in some areas of the country on Sunday, December 14.

Scheduled maintenance work on the distribution network is carried out under Articles 72 and 75 of the Regulation on Commercial Relations in the Electricity and Gas Sector.

This work is scheduled to take place preferably on Sundays and is preceded by prior notification to minimize the impact of the power outage, which is intended to be brief and short-lived.

These interruptions are essential to ensure that preventive interventions are carried out under appropriate safety conditions, thus minimizing the risk to the technical teams that carry them out.

For safety reasons, and in the event of early restoration of the power supply or the need for technical tests, it is recommended that all installations be considered to be permanently live.
