At 8:00 a.m. today (10 February), E-REDES reported that 41,000 customers were without power. In the most critical areas, the damage caused by Storm Kristin affected a total of 35,000 customers, with 26,000 customers without power in Leiria, 6,000 in Santarém, 2,000 in Castelo Branco and 1,000 in Coimbra. 

E-REDES urges the public to be cautious of the risks arising from the effects of last week's destruction and warns of any power lines that may have fallen onto public roads or loose and accessible cables.
