In order to provide E-REDES with a complete technical solution that ensures metering in informal neighborhood situations and to combat fraud, a tamper-proof pilot solution for LV metering was developed. 

A first pilot was carried out in the municipality of Monforte in June 2021, to be followed by two more in the networks of Guarda and Elvas, always in LV aerial network. The finalization of a solution adapted to the underground network and to residential buildings is underway, to be implemented as a pilot in 2022 in Matosinhos and then replicated in identical situations in the country. 

Alongside the development of technical solutions, operating procedures, operations, changes in the IS and also the development of strategies to facilitate situations of absence of contracts were also prepared.
