What is the Sharing Coefficient?
Sharing coefficients are percentages that indicate how the energy produced is distributed among the members of the community.
Each player's sharing coefficient is predefined at the time of registration and is proportional to consumption. Once the community is certified and starts operating, EGAC can change the sharing coefficient.

Changing the sharing coefficient
If the EGAC wishes to change the pre-defined sharing coefficient, it must inform E-REDES via the area reserved for the Self-Consumption Manager.

Section II of the RAC defines the general rules for sharing energy in collective self-consumption. Article 29 in particular defines energy sharing with fixed coefficients. The model and format of the data to be communicated by EGAC for the purposes of setting up the fixed structure and the sharing methods to be applied to each participant are defined in Collective Self-Consumption - Fixed Sharing.
