Scheduled Maintenance Work on the Distribution Network
During these interventions, maneuvers, connections, repairs, or infrastructure maintenance work are carried out, always in a planned and controlled manner.
Temporary and short-term interruptions occur when all available power supply alternatives have been exhausted, in order to ensure that the impact on customers is as low as possible.
For safety reasons, and in the event of early restoration of the power supply or the need for technical tests, it is recommended that all installations be considered permanently live.
Scheduled maintenance work on the distribution network is carried out under Articles 72 and 75 of the Regulation on Commercial Relations in the Electricity and Gas Sector.
We are a European benchmark
As a result of this commitment, and as reported by the CEER (Council of European Energy Regulators), E-REDES is considered a European benchmark in terms of carrying out scheduled interventions with minimal impact on supply.
