E-REDES invests 350,000 euros in Braga's electricity grid

The investment will strengthen the quality of service and improve the municipality's urban landscape.

E-REDES is committed to modifying the MV overhead network, as a result of an integrated vision of the existing network and with a view to promoting a more environmentally efficient network.

To this end, E-REDES dismantled 250 meters of overhead MV line and installed a new disconnection post, which will allow for the future availability of power and the dismantling of more MV overhead lines in the parish of Nogueiró. In the União das Freguesias de Este (São Pedro e São Mamede), 650 meters of double overhead line were also dismantled, with a great visual impact on the urban landscape.

In the parish of Parada de Tibães, E-REDES is building a new transformer substation with 250kVA of power, which is already in operation and will have a direct impact on around 50 customers, while also allowing power to be available for new needs in the future.

These works are being carried out in close collaboration with the municipality of Braga and are part of E-REDES' policy of optimizing quality of service and energy efficiency, resulting from the commitment made to the municipality.
