  1. Phishing is a type of fraud that involves sending fraudulent emails to manipulate people into revealing personal information or paying money. The emails may look legitimate and persuasive, but they are created with the aim of deceiving people.

    While Phishing refers to the type of fraudulent messages sent via email, Smishing is a type of phishing, but via SMS.
